Selection process
This new joint degree with Politecnico di Milano will allow a maximum of 50 students to spend the first semester of their first year at Bocconi, and the second semester of their first year at PoliMi. In the second year, courses will be offered by both universities.
Process and Timeline: Application, results and enrollment
Italian, international, Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano applicants may apply for the program through a specific online application as outlined below.

Applications will be administered by a joint admissions board of representatives from both Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano. The decision will be based both on quantitative (test score/GPA) and qualitative (CV, motivational letter) criteria.
The GMAT/GRE tests will be accepted for international applicants, and the GMAT/GRE or Bocconi selection test will be accepted for Italian applicants. Applicants with an undergraduate degree from Bocconi or from Politecnico di Milano are exempted from taking any kind of test.
International applicants

Applicants are required to pay the €100 application fee through the Bocconi store.
Italian applicants
This section applies to students who graduated from an Italian University (not Bocconi or PoliMi).

- English language requirement equivalent to level B2.
Italian applicants can apply with the GMAT/GRE test score or with the Bocconi online test.
If they have also submitted an application for regular Master of Science programs and they have already taken the Bocconi online test, they won't need to retake the test, as their performance will be considered also for the admission to the MSc in Transformative sustainability.
In order to access admissions, Italian applicants are subject to specific academic requirements related to the BSc degree field of study. Failure to meet such requirements will result in the applicant not being able to take part in the selection process.
Italian applicants graduating from the L18, L33, L-8 and L-9 degree fields of study fulfill the academic requirements to access the program. Applicants graduating from different fields of study need to have obtained at least 30 credits in specific academic fields and disciplines (SSD).

Applicants are required to pay the €100 application fee through the Bocconi store.
Bocconi applicants
This section applies to students who are graduating from a Bocconi Bachelor of Science program.

Applicants with an undergraduate degree from Bocconi are exempted from taking any test or paying the selection administrative fee.
No additional points will be assigned for internships, exchange programs, or other curricular activities.
PoliMi applicants
This section applies to applicants who are graduating from a PoliMi bachelor program.

PoliMi applicants are subject to specific academic requirements related to the bachelor degree field of study. Failure to meet such requirements will result in the applicant not being able to take part in the selection.
