Prerequisite for curricular exams

In order to register for the Computer science (second partial or general) exam, as well as the Computer skills and Computer skills for economics (general) exams, you must have completed one of the following basic ICT certifications:

• ICDL Standard, ICDL Full Standard or ECDL Core (7 modules)
• IC3 2005 plus, IC3 GS3, IC3 GS4 or IC3 GS5

Some advanced certifications are accepted in lieu of the basic ones: MACS Master, ICDL Expert (that consists of three Advanced certifications: Advanced Word Processing, Advanced Spreadsheets and Advanced Presentation), MOS Master (Office 2016) or MOS Expert (3 MOS Associate + 2 MOS Expert exams, for Office 2019).

Bocconi University is a Test center accredited by AICA to issue ICDL and ICDL Advanced certifications. For further information on how to obtain ICDL certifications, please visit our website in the ICDL and ICDL Advanced sections. 

Once you have completed the ICDL certification, it must be recorded by the IT Education Center:

• If you have obtained a ECDL/ICDL Standard, ECDL/ICDL Full Standard or an ECDL Core certification in Italy, the prerequisite will be registered automatically
• If you have obtained an ICDL certification (entirely or in part) in a foreign country, you must get in contact with the IT Education Center through B in Touch, sending your Skills Card Number and original certification as an attachment (in .pdf format). You are required to take 7 modules that correspond to the program of ECDL Core or ICDL in Italy
• If your certifications are ECDL/ICDL Expert, IC3 2005 plus, IC3 GS3, GS4 or GS5, MOS Master or MCAS Master, you must get in contact with the IT Education Center through B in Touch, sending your original Skills Card and certification as an attachment (in .pdf format).
  

Moreover we inform you that the registration of the prerequisites will be carried out automatically by ITEC staff approximately every 10 days.

It is highly recommended to obtain a certification before the beginning of the course, in order to attend it with the necessary basic knowledge.

If you have not achieved the prerequisite by the following deadlines, the registration for the exam will not be allowed.
