Specialized Master 2024/25 AY

Bocconi test: structure, time management and how to prepare for it

Test structure and subject areas

The Bocconi selection test for Specialized Masters consists of 70 multiple-choice questions, divided in 4 subject areas: verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, critical reasoning, and abstract reasoning/problem solving.

The Bocconi selection test is in Italian but you can choose to take it in English when filling out the online application for admission.

Time management and score assessment

The Bocconi test lasts 70 minutes.

The questions are distributed within the test in a mixed way both by difficulty level and by topic.

The time for the resolution of each question may vary depending on the type of question.

It is important that you work on your time management skills and on your ability to move smoothly from one topic to another as well as on developing a personal strategy that takes into account your areas of strenght and weakeness.

The test score will be assigned as follows:

  • 1 point for each correct answer;
  • 0 points for each black or voided answer;
  • - 0.3 points for each incorrect answer.

Minimum score: only applicants with 17 or more correct answers out of 70 questions, will be considered.
Please note that this is not a score that assures admission, but only a minimum requirement for the applicant to be considered in the selection process.

Applicants will take into account the section "correct answers" on their test score report, in order to decide whether or not they meet the minimum score required for applying.
The total score, instead, will be considered as a general indicator of the applicants' performance.

Support for students with disabilities and learning disorders
