European Week 2024

25 - 28 June 2024

The fourth edition of the CIVICA European Week will take place on 25— 28 June 2024 and will be hosted (both online and in presence) by The London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) on the topic "Migration in a Changing Europe".

The Topic: "Migration in a Changing Europe"

Designed by The London School of Economics and Political Sciences, the 2024 CIVICA European Week constitutes an excellent opportunity for students to explore and delve deeper into the relevant topic of Migration in today's European context. The event is intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of the migration phenomenon, with insights into the control system for those entering Europe, and investigate shifts in how EU countries think and practice the integration of persons with a migration background.

The programme combines diverse methodologies and is structured according to a transdisciplinary, multi-scalar and experiential approach: it includes both online immersive learning activities and off-campus experiences. All activities are intended to shed light on the debate inherent to migration, how it affects Europeanness and how it is related to work and social inequalities.

Students will have the opportunity to build engaging dialogues with practitioners, scholars, researchers and representatives of international organizations as well as to work in teams and increase their knowledge.
