Life in Monte Sant Angelo - Foggia - Italy

Monte Sant'Angelo counts around 14.000 people, many of which in small villages up in mountains or near the coast. The old city is 850 meters above the sea level, at less than 10 km from the sea.

Monte Sant'Angelo is a great place for excursion and it is also at 20minutes drive from great beaches. During the week we will organize a shuttle bus from the town to the sea for at least a couple of days. We will also organize one excursion.

Trekking paths start from the town centre and reach into the National Park of Gargano; travel guides can be booked they also organize mountain bike tours.

The centre (CENTRO DI STUDI MICAELICI E GARGANICI):

The centre is located inside the old city walls. It is run jointly by the city council and the Departments of History of Religions of Bari and Foggia universities.
