CAAS - Centre for Advanced Academic Studies
The Centre For Advanced Academic Studies is managed by the University of Zagreb. The Institute is located next to the old city, looking at the ancient surrounding wall (five minutes walking) in a beautiful and quite neighbourhood. This neighbourhood even if its located next to the tourist heart of Dubrovnik is quite hidden and looks like a small fishing village.
The CAAS is located in a beautiful building with a courtyard inside.The building is equipped with up to date technical devices. It offers different facilities:
- Conference hall
- Many lectures rooms with all the necessary tools;
- Office (phone/fax, printer, pc, copy machine)
- A library
- A computer room with 15 pc
Next to the Institute there is a rocky beach (five minute walking), a little pebbles beach, a public park and some little good restaurants.
Accommodation
All reservations will be made from Milano by the ESSID organizers.
At the top floor of the CAAS institute there is a renovated dormitory available for the students. All the rooms have air conditioning and Internet connection.
