JOBS AND GROWTH IN TOMORROW'S EUROPE

The Vice-President of the European Commission Jyrki Katainen, Responsible for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitivenes, will discuss with students and faculty what Europe has learnt from the economic crisis, the challenge of modernizing the European economy, and how to secure the EU's long-term prosperity, peace and cohesion.

In particular, the Vice-President would like to hear young people’s views about how the EU should deal with the challenges of:

• Preserving our fundamental values
• Standing-up for an open, fair and rules-based trade system
• Embracing technological change while making the transition toward a circular economy
