To do list
Important things to remember when you go abroad:
- Enrol in the 2nd year: Students choose normally the elective courses in August/September (check the Student Administration Center website). Free-Mover Students (who may insert tentative elective choices) will have the possibility of changing their elective choices on return from the Free-mover period.
- Passport/Visa: If your passport expires during or within six months of the end of your study abroad program, renew it now.
- Insurance: Host schools require that you have insurance for your study abroad period there. It is extremely important to do this before leaving.
- Safety: When leaving for the Free-Mover Semester, we encourage you to register at Viaggiare Sicuri - MAE, dove siamo nel mondo - MAE. This service is available for Italian citizens only. Students are required to read carefully the Bocconi Students TRAVEL RISK POLICY, available on yoU@B – International SOS and the Travel Risk Policy Exceptions.
- Financial statement: Some schools may ask you to provide a financial statement issued by your bank, during the application stage. Please ask directly the host school for further information on this issue.
