During my stays abroad as an exchange student, I discovered the honor and the responsibility connected with representing your country. I then started to nurture my aspiration of becoming a diplomat. I thought it would fit my interests and aptitudes quite well: my passion for geopolitics and my ambition to serve in public administration. My devotion to Italy and at the same time my curiosity and openness to different cultures led me to focus on international organizations. I am now a diplomat at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, serving in the Multilateral Development Cooperation Desk. Responsibilities are high already; workloads are intense. However, I cannot deny I am profoundly happy, trying to contribute my grain of sand every day.
