Taxis, Bicycles and Car Sharing

Public Transport (2)

TAXIS
Taxis cannot be hailed from the street. The best way to catch a taxi is to either book it in advance on the following numbers: 02 4040 / 02 6767 / 02 8585 /
or you can call this number which calls the taxi from the closest taxi rank: 848.814.781.

Alternatively you can find taxi ranks in many places where you can pick up taxis straight away:
such as piazza Duomo. The main ones near Bocconi University are:
Via Torricelli
Piazzale di Porta Ludovica
Piazza XXIV Maggio

BICYCLES
BikeMi is Milan's new Bike Sharing easy, practical and ecological service. Designed to promote user mobility, BikeMi is not just a simple bike rental service but a real public bicycle transport system to be used for short trips supplemented by ATM traditional transport vehicles.

This only the beginning of a big project that will see BikeMi stations located in strategic points all over the city, starting downtown: train stations and universities, hospitals and tourist attractions, underground stations, administrative offices, malls and parking lots. This will allow all registered users to pick up a bike, ride it and leave it at the station closest to their destination.

CAR SHARING

As far as car sharing services are concerned, drivers in Milan are spoilt for choice:

- Car2go (Mercedes Benz's car sharing service),

- Enjoy (Eni's car sharing service),

- Share'n go (electric cars),

- E-Vai (electric cars).
