Association for Gender Equality and Diversity in Academia
Our aim is to promote gender equality and diversity in academic working environments.
To this aim, we want to encourage exchange between scholars and students, initiate discussions on the topic of fair professional opportunities and provide for a platform to stay informed about the ongoing research in this field.
A key aspect of our work consists in raising awareness of (unconscious) bias towards certain groups or members of society. It is our opinion that through knowledge we will be able to overcome reservations and exploit academic potential to the fullest.
We are a Bocconi-student association, founded by PhD-students in September 2021. All our members share a strong ambition to work in a diverse academic environment and are highly motivated to contribute to this aim through e.g., the promotion of research projects as well as the organization of events, workshops, and mentoring programs.
