Bocconi Students M&A Circle
Bocconi Students M&A Circle è un’associazione che opera nel campo dell’investment banking ed in particolare in quello delle fusioni e acquisizioni. La nostra attività è ispirata dall’opportunità di creare un network di studenti con un interesse comune per l’investment banking.
I principali obiettivi del Bocconi Students M&A Circle sono:
- fornire ai propri membri strumenti fondamentali per iniziare con successo una carriera nel settore dell’investment banking
- stabilire contatti con professionisti del mondo dell’investment banking
- diffondere la conoscenza e l’interesse per l’ambito delle fusioni e acquisizioni all’interno dell’ambiente universitario.
Aspiriamo a raggiungere questi obiettivi attraverso due principaliattività:
- l’organizzazione di eventi in collaborazione con professionisti, società e banche di investimento
- l’analisi di operazioni di M&A recenti in modo da sviluppare una conoscenza approfondita dell’andamento del mercato.
I membri del BSMAC sono suddivisi in sei divisioni:
- Energy and Raw Materials;
- Financial Institutions;
- Healthcare;
- Industrials;
- Retail and Consumer Products;
- Technology, Media and Telecommunications.
Questa struttura consente ai membri del BSMAC di sviluppare una conoscenza più approfondita del settore che li interessa maggiormente.
Attualmente l’associazione conta 35 membri, equamente suddivisi tra studenti dei corsi di laurea specialistica e triennale. Il BSMAC recluta nuovi membri due volte all’anno nei mesi di ottobre e marzo. Tutti gli studenti Bocconi possono presentare la propria candidatura e il processo di selezione si svolge attraverso due fasi:

2. Intervista con alcuni dei membri dell’associazione

Bocconi Students M&A Circle is a students’ association operating in the investment banking field with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Our activity is inspired by the opportunity to create a network of students with a common interest in investment banking.
The main purposes of the Bocconi Students M&A Circle are:
- To provide its members with relevant tools in order to successfully start a career in investment banking
- To build relationships with professionals of the investment banking industry
- To spread interest and knowledge of mergers and acquisitions activity in the university environment
We aim to pursue these objectives focusing on two main activities:
- Organizing events in collaboration with both companies and professionals in order to give advice to students that are interested in a job in investment banking
- Analysing interesting recent transactions to gain an up to date understanding of the mergers and acquisitions industry.
Members of the BSMAC are divided into six industry coverage divisions:
- Energy and Raw Materials
- Financial Institutions
- Healthcare
- Industrials
- Retail and Consumer Products
- Technology, Media and Telecommunications
This structure allows members to develop a deeper knowledge of the industry they are more interested in.
The association is currently composed of 35 students, equally split between master and bachelor, representing eleven different nationalities. We recruit new members twice a year: in October and in March. All Bocconi students are eligible to become members of the BSMAC and the selection process consists of two steps:
1. CV screening
2. Interview with some of the members of the association
