Bocconi Students Advocacy & Litigation

  • Conferenze tenute da gruppi di esperti, riguardanti i più diversi argomenti (dal diritto commerciale al penale, dalla proprietà intellettuale al diritto internazionale ed europeo);
  • Articoli e saggi sulle più recenti e più dibattute questioni legali;
  • Incontri per interagire con i migliori professionisti che lavorano nei tribunali, negli studi legali e nelle aziende;
  • Workshops che permettono agli studenti di entrare in un vero studio legale e mettere in pratica le conoscenze acquisite durante gli anni;

Bocconi Students Advocacy & Litigation was established in 2012 as a students Law Society.

Our mission is to realise a connection between “law in books” and “law in action", thus contributing to the personal and professional growth of our Members and of every student who participates in our activities.

Today, not only has Advocacy & Litigation succeeded in becoming the largest and most active Law Students Association, but it has also changed profoundly the lives of many of them.

From the beginning, A&L stood out for the organisation of Moot Court: a trial simulation held in the most important Law Schools all over the world, where students can become lawyers for one day and distinguish themselves for their oratory skills, creativity, and their knowledge of Italian civil case.

Over the years, A&L has always brought high the name of its Moot Court, but at the same time has been broadening its interests more and more:

  • Conferences: regarding the most diverse subjects (from economy to criminal law, from behavioural science to intellectual property, from Information Technology law to international & European law), always hosted by a balanced and expert board;
  • Articles & Essays: focusing on the most recent and most debated legal news;
  • Meetings: the most effective way to interact with the greatest professionals from courts, law firms and companies in the Hinterland;
  • Workshops: a concrete possibility to work inside a real law firm and put "in action" the knowledge acquired throughout the years;
  • Trips & Crosstalks: a travel to the institutional palaces of Justice, for assisting to a real trial; and for those who want to travel even further, every year we give 15 students the opportunity to visit a foreign European university for five days, focusing on a specific subject.

There are many other events, so many that it wouldn’t be right to summarise them in such a short description.

What truly matters is that Advocacy is, above all, a group of friends, where excellent students share their ideas, passions and dreams. If that's what represents yourself too, we are waiting for you!

Activity areas: Competition simulations; International students and spirit; Law.
