Course Structure

The program consists of online interactive lessons with systematic use of Socratic methods, online hands-on practical classes (including with high-level guest speakers), class research, groupwork, exercises and debates.

Synchronous classes will generally be starting from 2pm CEST to accommodate students from all continents and render further inspiring, dynamic and inclusive all students' experiences at Bocconi Summer School in Law. The specific course schedule will be available beforehand, at the start of the program.

Students fulfilling attendance requirements will receive a digital certificate attesting their participation in the course. Important: students who are also interested in earning 3 credits* are required to sit a final exam (on the last day) on campus in Milan.

To participate in the Online Summer School, a PC, a webcam and a stable internet connection are required.
Courses will be delivered through Blackboard, the Bocconi e-learning platform (check here for browser support). Students will be able to access the platform on the first day of the program (3 July).

*in accordance with the ECTS — European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System — on average 1 credit point corresponds to 25 hours of work for student

The Summer School participation fee includes the following:

  • academic program, including access to all materials via the e-learning platform and course-related guest speakers
  • use of electronic library services and resources
  • official certificate (electronic format)

How to Apply

Bocconi Summer School offers motivated Italian and international students an intense one-week experience. The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates.  
Admission will be decided on the basis of both academic achievement and suitability for the program.

In order to apply, candidates must fill out the online application through the My Application portal

Applications must include the following elements, which must be uploaded or specified in My Application:

  • Student records including exams passed and marks obtained;
  • CV/resume and motivation (up to 500 words).

During the application, candidates will be required to declare an English language proficiency equal to or greater than the B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language). This is the suggested level required to successfully participate in coursework. Applicants are not required to upload any certificate.

Applicants may view their results by accessing My Application Portal with their personal login information.

In order to confirm their place, admitted students will receive all necessary information to complete the enrollment and they will be required to pay the tuition fee applicable to the course by the enrollment and payment deadline.
