Bocconi Summer School is going online! All the information and details you need to participate are available here.
Each course consists of 48 hours of online teaching activities, both asynchronous and synchronous. These may include, for instance, live sessions with faculty and classmates (such as lectures, debates, Q&A periods, real-time exercises, guest speakers testimonials), recorded sessions, individual or class assignments, consultation of specific material (slides, documents, etc.), participation in online forums.
Please note that synchronous activities will be generally scheduled between 2 and 5pm Italian time.
Each course schedule will be made available to participants before the start of the program.
Courses will be delivered through Blackboard (check here for browser support).
Students will be able to access the platform on the first day of the program (June 29).
The exam will be held online on the last day of the program (July 17), at a time to be defined in the coming weeks.
The Summer School participation fee is €1,200 and includes the following:
- academic program, incl. access to all materials via e-learning platform and course-related guest speakers
- use of electronic library services and resources
- online social activities (tbd)
- official certificate*.
*Students earn 6 credits upon completing the course and passing the exam (to be held online on 17 July).
Bocconi Summer School offers a three-week study program open to motivated international students (students from non-Italian universities) enrolled in a bachelor program, preferably in their third-to-last, second-to-last or last year of undergraduate studies.
Admission will be decided on the basis of both academic achievement and suitability for the program.
In order to apply, candidates must fill out the online application through My Application portal. Applicants are asked to select their desired course and one alternative, allowing the Summer School Team to better allocate the available places and in case the preferred course doesn't reach the min. number of requests to be activated.
Applications must be supported by the following elements, which must be uploaded or specified in My Application:
- Student records including exams passed and marks obtained during the undergraduate program; an official table explaining the grading system used at the home university (indicating the minimum and maximum achievable scores) must be attached
- CV/resume and motivation (up to 500 words).
During the application candidates will be required to declare an English language proficiency equal to or greater than B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language). This is the minimum level required to successfully participate in coursework. Applicants are not required to upload any certificate.
