MASEM - Master in Sustainability and Energy Management
Sustainability, climate change and energy are globally recognized challenges for the 21st century, calling for a strong commitment for change by governments, companies and civil society.
The Bocconi Master in Sustainability and Energy Management (MASEM) addresses tomorrow’s challenges related to sustainable development, energy and the natural environment.
MASEM is a unique opportunity for students interested in building a professional career in a multi-disciplinary topic characterized by growing momentum. Its purpose is to create specialized managers and professionals and prepare them for industrial and service companies, international agencies, nonprofit organizations and public authorities.
The program, held on a full-time basis from January to December and completely taught in English, is designed to equip students with the skills and competencies required to responsibly face these new challenges.
With more than 500 hours of teaching, an internship lasting around 400 hours at leading organizations in energy and sustainability, integrated with workshops, field projects and company presentations, MASEM is open to graduate students and young professionals from a variety of disciplines.
MASEM is a brand new program rooted in the tradition of Bocconi and the yearslong experience of the MaGER program.
The quality of our faculty, both in terms of teaching and research, has built a strong reputation around the world, as demonstrated by improving placements in top international rankings.
Our graduates are highly regarded by our network of employers, who also participate in our courses. This is a key factor for the success of the program.
The results we have achieved over the years with the MaGER program are a legacy for our students, and MASEM's innovative curricula provides students with solid preparation and skills tailored to the evolution of the job market.
