Virtual Exchange Program Fall 20

IMPORTANT: This webpage will be updated with new contents as they become available

The Fall 20 Bocconi Virtual Exchange Program will held entirely online, from September 2020 to February 2021 (with the possibility for students to complete the online semester by December 22). Considering it is an entirely Virtual Exchange, travelling to Milan and to the campus is not foreseen.

All nominated students for the Fall 20 Virtual Exchange will be able to complete the Virtual Exchange online application available at this link starting from Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 9.

In order to apply online you will need the USER ID and PASSWORD that will be emailed to you and your Home University coordinator right before the opening of the online application, on July 6.

PLEASE NOTE!: keep very carefully the above credentials since they will be necessary to access all the Bocconi systems, including your Bocconi personal email and student diary (yoU@B agenda).

In the application you will be required to upload the most updated version available of:

  • CV (resume)
  • Grade report
  • Headshot photo
  • Passport/ID personal data page (front and back)
  • Disability certificate issued by the Home University (only for students in need of special accommodations)

IMPORTANT: Considering you are applying for a Virtual Exchange, the Bocconi acceptance letter included in the online application is not meant for Visa and travel purposes and students will not be able to apply for housing.

For all general questions on the Exchange program, please refer to: inexchange@unibocconi.it

The Fall 2020 virtual exchange educational offer is now available!

Important! The content of the course profiles refers to the 2019-2020 academic year. Any updates and/or changes to the profile content (e.g. assessment methods, textbooks, etc.) will be available on 3 September 2020.

The International Student Desk offers Virtual Exchange students a beginner-level online course to help them familiarize with the Italian Language and Culture and acquire useful everyday conversation skills.

This full immersion, intensive course (20 hours) lasts two weeks and is offered before the start of Bocconi classes, beginning in late August. Virtual Exchange students will gain a general understanding of Italian language and culture and of aspects related to intercultural communication. Lessons are taught by professional, experienced and qualified Italian professors, who will also hold one-to-one tutoring sessions with students.

This is an optional, non-credit bearing extracurricular course, hence not included in the official Bocconi transcript nor in the student’s study plan.

Classes will be streamed live and recorded, so that students can access them at any time on the course platform.
