Spring 21 Virtual Exchange Program

IMPORTANT: This webpage will be updated with new contents as they become available

Spring 21 Virtual Exchange students cannot access (and take advantage of) any of the Bocconi on-campus services and facilities, including Bocconi dorms. Travelling to Milan and to the campus is not foreseen.

All nominated students for the Spring 21 Virtual Exchange will be able to complete the Virtual Exchange online application available at this link starting from Tuesday December 1st to Thursday, December 3rd.

In order to apply online you will need the USER ID and PASSWORD that will be emailed to you and your Home University coordinator right before the opening of the online application.

PLEASE NOTE: keep very carefully the above credentials since they will be necessary to access all the Bocconi systems, including your Bocconi personal email and student diary (yoU@B agenda).

In the application you will be required to upload the most updated version available of:

  • CV (resume)
  • Grade report
  • Headshot photo
  • Passport/ID personal data page (front and back)
  • Disability certificate issued by the Home University (only for students in need of special accommodations)

IMPORTANT: Considering you are applying for a Virtual Exchange, the Bocconi acceptance letter included in the online application is not meant for Visa and travel purposes and students will not be able to apply for housing.

For all general questions on the Exchange program, please refer to: inexchange@unibocconi.it

The Spring 2021 virtual exchange educational offer is now available!

Courses that do not appear in the above Spring 2021 course lists are not open to exchange students and will not appear in the course selection platform.

You can find course profiles at this link by typing the course code in the “Search for courses by code and/or title and/or teacher” section. The content of the course profiles refers to the 2020-2021 academic year.

The online course selection will run from January 12 - 15, 2021 and classes will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis.

Students will have the chance to modify their study plan again during the add/drop period, which will run in the period February 9 -16, 2021.

Online classes will run from February 4 to May 8, 2021. Detailed information about the teaching format will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

  1. Virtual exchange students are expected to select min. 1 up to max. 5 courses per term.
  2. Undergraduate students can choose only among undergraduate courses (with code 30xxx). Graduate students are allowed to choose both undergraduate (30xxx) and graduate (20xxx and 50xxx) courses.
  3. Students who wish to take all the exams by the May exam session (May 12 - 31, 2021), have to make sure that the classes they select have  no exam conflict. The exam schedule is available at the following link www.unibocconi.eu/exams
  4. If two final exams are scheduled on the same day and time, students can select both courses and take the exams in different available sessions. Bocconi University has multiple exam sessions (Spring semester exam sessions: May, June/July).
  5. Exchange students are not allowed to include language courses in their study plan.
  6. Some courses may have specific restrictions: carefully check the "Prerequisites" section available in the course profile.
  7. IMPORTANT: please take note that some courses might have the same contents/program. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you contact the professor/s in charge of the corresponding courses and verify with them the possibility of attending both classes.
  8. THEMIS students can find further information about courses approved by the Themis network and program requirements at the Themis webpage. For further information on Themis requirements, please refer to themis@unibocconi.it.
