Welcome Activities

Just before the beginning of each semester, we organize an intensive calendar of Welcome Activities, designed to meet the needs of incoming exchange students. Our Welcome Activities are aimed at helping students familiarize with Bocconi, become better acquainted with the academic environment, comply with administrative procedures and make new friends in order to be ready for this once in a lifetime opportunity!

CHECK-IN

TOURS OF MILANO

Fashion Itinerary

Visit the fashion district of Milano, where the most important boutiques in the world can be found

When: January 27, 10:30am-1:30pm and February 3, 2:30pm-5.30pm

Classic Itinerary

Enjoy the classical highlights of Milano! (Duomo, Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, the Scala Opera House and the Sforza Castle)

Liberty Itinerary

Learn more about the Italian variant of Art Nouveau, the Liberty style, by exploring iconic Milanese Liberty landmarks, such as the fascinating Porta Venezia District.

Monumental Cemetery and Porta Nuova Tour

Enjoy an interesting tour through Milano's Monumental Cemetery, an extraordinary outdoor museum, and Porta Nuova, Milano's futuristic district

San Siro Stadium Tour

Visit the areas of the stadium usually reserved for champions and the places that have made football history!

When: January 27, 2:30pm

Registration Fee: 30€ or 24€ for groups of 50 participants (to be paid on site at the stadium)

GALLERIE  D'ITALIA ART TOURS

Visit the Gallerie d'Italia Museum: from Canova to Boccioni, it displays 197 art works of the 19th Century

YESMILANO WORKSHOPS

Learn more about relocating to Milano with Yesmilano, the Milanese Chamber of Commerce agency for student internationalization.

These workshop sessions will give you all relevant information on many different topics, including public transportation in Milano, how to obtain the fiscal code and how to register to the Italian Healthcare System.

STUDY ABROAD: TAKING CARE OF YOUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING

In this workshop, two mental health professionals from Bocconi, as well as representatives from the Bocconi Campus Life office, will provide you with practical tips on how to look after your physical and emotional wellbeing while studying abroad.

TRAVELLING IN ITALY – TIPS & HIGHLIGHTS

Want to visit Italy like a local? This online workshop will guide you through the best places to visit within 2 hours of Milano, as well as some hidden gems in the city itself.
The International Student Desk staff will also provide you with tips to ensure your safety while traveling and what to pack for an unforgettable trip. And of course, no trip to Italy is complete without indulging in some delicious cuisine: do not miss our foodie tips!
