Covid-19 Emergency: Bocconi residence halls

The following table embodies the main measures adopted by Bocconi University (lastly updated on 7 May 2021) and by the operators responsible for the management of the residences, in order to prevent and contain the risk of contagion.

COVID-19: MAIN SECURITY MEASURES ADOPTED IN THE RESIDENCES
Structural measures
SIGNAGE
The University has set up specific signs in order to manage the entry and exit flows, let alone the movements within the structures.  Moreover, There is vertical signs showing the correct code of conduct, which has to be followed to prevent the spread of the virus. You will have to carefully follow all the directions of the signage and respect them in all circumstances.
CLEANING — SANITIZATION
The residence management guarantees regular cleaning and sanitization of the surfaces in the common areas of the apartments/rooms as specified and required by the Rapporto ISS COVID-19 n. 5/2020 Rev. 2.
GEL DISPENSERS
Every residential entrance has been provided with sanitizing gel dispensers. More dispensers will be installed in the study areas and in the proximity of the elevators. Please sanitize your hands frequently, in particular before and after touching common objects and spaces.
COMMON AREAS
Update 7 May 2021

Starting from May 10th, 2021 the common areas of the Bocconi residence halls will be reopened. Each area will be open according to specific timeframes and with a maximum number of people allowed, that will be indicated on site.

Update 19 February 2021

Given the emergence of new Covid-19 cases and considering the existence of highly transmissible new variants, that might be circulating also in our Region, despite the low number of students currently in the residence halls (study rooms and game rooms) for precaution reasons the common areas of the Bocconi residence halls will remain closed until further notice.
The common kitchens will remain open exclusively for the preparation of meals, which, however, must be individually consumed in the student's own room.
ISOLATION
In order to guarantee the opportunity of isolation for the students coming from countries for which isolation is mandatory, the University has provided rooms in some of the residences. These rooms will also be available for students that should be affected by the virus during their staying at Bocconi.
QR CODE
The anti-covid rules and the main information regarding the managing of emergencies are available through a QR CODE provided by the residence management in every residence. You are required to follow them and, shouldn't that be the case, you may undergo disciplinary sanctions.
Individual measures
MASKS
Everyone must wear face masks in the common areas in order to protect the respiratory tract (mouth and nose). 
SANITIZATION KIT
Every month, the residents are given a kit to sanitize every surface in their apartments.
RESTRICTION FOR EXTERNAL VISITORS
All the information are available in the dedicated webpage.
EXITS NOTIFICATION
Guests are required to fill a form in the “Temporary exits and returns" section of the online check-in procedure, in order to  communicate to the residence management and to the housing center every exit from the residence having a duration of more than a week (if within Italy) or of any duration (if abroad).
INFORMATION MATERIAL
Every apartment/room is provided with printed information regarding the phone numbers to be called in case the guest would recognize any symptom of Covid-19.
