Welcome to the Bocconi Residence Halls!
Below you will find all the information you need before you check-in at the residence.
Before you check-in
We remind you that before checking-in it is necessary to complete the payment of the housing 1st installment a.y. 2019-20. You can find your MAV payslip for the payment on your you@B diary (Punto Blu > Administrative area > Financial situation – payments). Please remember that in order to see the MAV payslip it is necessary to have completed the enrollment to academic year 2019-20.
Payments by MAV may be made through any bank in Italy or online through an Italian home banking system or through the "Scrigno Pago Facile" service.
After having made the payment, it is necessary to upload the receipt of payment in the dedicated application below:
to be completed by students who have been assigned a room for a.y. 2019-20
Please access the online check-in procedure, upload the receipt of payment, click on "Submit data" and then on "Submit application" in order to complete your check-in.
From 22 August 2019 to 6 September 2019
Please make sure to let us know if you will arrive later than 6 September 2019.
All the Bocconi Residence Halls have a reception open 24hrs/24, however it is recommended to arrive at the reception for the check-in between 9 am and 5 pm: during this timeframe, the residence staff will be available and at your disposal for every kind of support you may need while taking possession of your room.
What to bring
Upon your arrival, you will find your room equipped with linens and towels, which are provided and changed once a week. The kitchens utensils instead are not provided: you may want to bring your owns from home, or you can buy them in Milan once arrived, maybe also share them with your room or flatmates. Please check all the other details about your assigned residence halls on this page of our website.
During the check-in period, from 22 August to 6 September 2019, from 5 to 8 pm, you will find a tutor at the residence. The tutor is a Bocconi student living in one of the Bocconi Residence Halls who will support you with useful information about Bocconi University, living in the Bocconi Residence Halls and the city of Milan. The tutor will be glad to welcome you at the residence and to give you some advice for your first days in Milan.
Get to know your flatmates
If you are sharing the bathroom and/or the apartment with other students, you will meet them upon your arrival at the residence. Living with one or more flatmates will be one of the most important aspects of your experience in the Bocconi Residence Halls. Getting along with each other will help you feel at home and concentrate on your studies. Remember that you are all here for the same purpose and that you share the same goals. Spend time with your flatmates, discuss your interests, families, hobbies and your academic career: sharing your feelings will be the best way to understand each other. Communication, respect, tolerance and shared decisions will allow you to face the most difficult situations and to go beyond cultural differences. Please do not forget to respect all the rules contained in the Bocconi Residence Regulations so as to facilitate a pleasant cohabitation.
