Volontari per un giorno
Want to participate in volunteer activities but don’t have clear ideas on what kinds of activities are best for you? Want to take part in a few short experiences before committing long-term to one organization? Or are you short on time – even if you know what you’d like to do – and can’t make a permanent commitment to social engagement?
Don’t worry!
Bocconi participates in Volontari per un giorno, which allows you to donate some of your time to one of the more than 1,500 projects available throughout the year.
Volontari per un Giorno – developed and coordinated by KPMG – is a campaign promoted by the City of Milan, CIESSEVI, Fondazione Sodalitas and Un-Guru.
Created as an experimental initiative and currently available all over Italy, Volontari per un Giorno is a website that puts potential volunteers in touch with associations and projects for the community that need support.
You can choose which activities to support and when to do so freely, based on your availability and interests.
Participating is easy. Simply:
- Go to the website www.volontariperungiorno.it (website in Italian)
- Register by choosing "iscrizione dipendenti" (even though you’re a student!) and choose the employer “Università Luigi Bocconi”
You will then be able to access the database of organizations and projects looking for volunteers for a day – register for the one you’re interested in and make your contribution!
