Walk - In Consultation

“Let’s Talk” is a Walk - In service that offers informal, confidential consultation with a Bocconi Counselor

Let's Talk consultations are:

  • Dedicated to all Bocconi students
  • Offered first-come, first-served (no appointment necessary)
  • Typically about 20 minutes in length
  • Informal, and not a substitute for counseling
  • There is no fee; the Let’s talk consultations are available for “one shot” consultations only

Let’s Talk counselors can listen to specific problems, help explore solutions, and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a member of our staff.

Let's Talk visits are confidential.

Let’s Talk is not a substitute for counseling. Other options for care from Bocconi Counseling Service include group counseling, individual counseling, workshops.

Let's Talk ... on campus!

Let's Talk is currently being provided in-person in Campus Life Area (Room 1, 2), via Bocconi 12.

How it works: Let’s Talk  Walk in is available every week, on Mondays from 1 to 2pm and Fridays, from 12 to 1pm
Students are seen individually on a first-come, first-served basis (no appointment necessary).

For days when the service is suspended due to university closures, public holidays or long weekends, please refer to the calendar in the agenda.

Who should visit Let's Talk?

  • Students who have never been in counseling before, are not sure if it’s right for them and wonder what it's like to talk with a counselor
  • Students who are not interested in ongoing counseling but would like the perspective of a counselor
  • Students who have a specific problem and would like to talk it through with someone
  • Students who are interested in learning more about what campus resources are available to them and how to access them
  • What happens at a visit to Let's Talk?

    Let's Talk visits are typically 20 minutes, and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Sometimes there is a wait, and occasionally when it’s very busy, the counselor might not have enough time to see everyone.
    However, there are Let’s Talk hours every week so you can try again the following week.
    During your session, the counselor will listen closely to your concerns and provide support, perspective, and suggestions for resources.
