Società del Quartetto di Milano

 

The Società del Quartetto di Milano, the oldest Italian chamber music society, was founded in 1864 by Arrigo Boito and Tito Ricordi to "encourage and circulate an appreciation for good music, especially the Quartet and Symphonic genres." Anyone, including non-members, have been able to attend concerts since 2002, marking the openness and energy of an activity that increasingly and continuously aims to contribute to the cultural growth of our city. Now in ints 147th season, the Quartetto will celebrate its first 150 years of musical activity in 2014.
All concerts will take place at the Conservatory of Milan, Sala Verdi Via Conservatorio 12.

SPECIAL PRICES FOR THE BOCCONI COMMUNITY

STUDENTS: tickets at 5€
FACULTY AND STAFF: tickets at 15€ instead of 30€.


HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS
Tickets must be reserved by writing to the email address info@quartettomilano.it using your email account with the domain @studbocconi.it, @unibocconi.it or @sdabocconi.it starting from 30 days before each concert. A confirmation reply will follow.
Tickets can be picked up using your name on the evening of the concert starting one hour before the concert, upon showing a university ID or another form of ID.


FOR BOCCONI STUDENTS: Bocconi students can attend  5 free general rehearsals open to the public for the concerts in the Quartetto season at the Conservatory. Rehearsals are also opportunities to meet and speak with the musicians, who will be available to answer questions and talk with the audience. The rehearsal will take place from 21 October 2014 to 28 April 2015.

Respective concerts will take place on the evening of the day of each rehearsal at 8:30pm in the Sala Verdi of the Conservatory of Milan. The conditions of the agreement described above will be applied to concerts.
