The Bachelor in Economics and Social Sciences gave me the unique opportunity to be an exchange student at UC Berkeley in California. This academic journey influenced me a lot, in an unexpected way: it was too close to Silicon Valley, to the startups environment and to that spirit of innovation and exciting technology that I got the chance to breath every day in the bay. I started wondering if I could find something matching my initial interests in being a researcher and deepen my knowledge of this new broader world of entrepreneurship, venture capital and innovation. This led me to go ahead with my MSc program, the perfect mix of economics, statistics, innovation, startups, VCs, valuations, and so on. All these buzzwords became my daily bread.
