BLOCKSTART - Blockchain Partnership Programme
Applications are open for the 3rd and final call of the BlockStart project to select small and medium-sized enterprises interested in adopting blockchain technologies and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
In particular, the call is aimed at technological innovators (blockchain / DLT developers) or potential end users (SME adopters), able to develop / provide or adopt a solution based on blockchain and other DLTs. Applicants must be active in the fintech, ICT and retail sectors.
The BlockStart acceleration program will last 6 months and is divided into 3 phases:
- Ideation Kick-off: a meeting event between SMEs and solution providers following which the best developers proceed to the Prototype phase
- Prototype phase: developers can work on their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a duration of 4 months
- Pilot phase: startups working with blockchain and other DLTs will have the opportunity to validate / test their solutions and refine their products
For blockchain / DLT developers, the call will remain open until 26 May 2021, while for companies adopting applications it will be possible until the end of the 2nd phase of the program with various cut-off deadlines (the first is set for 6 July 2021 ).
