Data science collaborative research programme
This supports synergistic research collaborations rooted in data science. They should lead to new or improved core data science algorithms, methods or technologies or explore and expand data science applications to scientific problems within the scope of the foundation’s data science initiative. Projects must also contribute to the training and education of the next generation of data scientists in Denmark.
Research teams may consist of the main applicant and up to five co-applicants. The main applicant must be employed at a Danish university, hospital or other non-profit organisation for at least 50 per cent of the time. Collaborations may be across institutions and national borders, but have to involve at least one Danish-based data science group.
The total budget is DKK 60 million. Grants are worth up to DKK 25m each over four to five years.
