Bocconi Merit Awards and Bocconi International Awards

AY 2018-2019 Undergraduate

Bocconi University is committed to making our superior level of higher education available to  outstanding students. The awards provide recipients with valuable financial support, ensuring students can enjoy the benefits of a top-quality academic experience regardless of their financial situation. Merit Awards and Bocconi International Awards will be made available for first year Undergraduate applicants for the 2018-2019 academic year based on their academic standing.

The Merit Award includes a full tuition waiver, worth up to approximately € 12,000 per year. A limited number of students may also be assigned free accommodation in one of the Bocconi Residences for up to the first two years of study in Bocconi.

The Bocconi International Award consists of a 50% tuition reduction.

International students applying for admission during the Early, Winter or Spring Sessions will be taken into consideration for merit-based financial aid.

Academic profiles considered to be amongst the top applicants will be considered for merit-based financial aid based on the admission's application submitted to Bocconi University. A separate application will not be required. The  evaluation will primarily be based on the candidate’s academic achievement.  In addition to academic achievement, the complete dossier provided to the Admissions office will be evaluated. The Selection of awardees will be carried out by a Committee, nominated by the Rector, including the Dean of the Undergraduate School and the Dean of International Affairs, whose decisions about numbers, amounts and recipients is final and unquestionable.

The assignment of an award will be noted in the MyApplication Portal together with admissions results.

The Merit Award and the Bocconi International Award will be automatically renewed for a maximum of 2 years provided the required minimum GPA and academic progress is met as specified in the scholarship acceptance form that must be signed and returned to the University by awardees.

Students can apply for other scholarships and they will be taken into consideration for all financial aid for which they apply, however, students can only receive one scholarship.
