Bocconi University recognizes social engagement and responsibility as values that are integral to its institutional identity.
Because of this social commitment, the Community and Social Engagement project has been launched, with the aim of contributing to the personal development of the students, faculty and staff that make up the Bocconi community.
The University offers a number of ideas and suggestions on these issues, by creating not only moments for reflection, but also concrete opportunities for personal engagement. Find out more!
At the Volunteer Desk, you can get general information on volunteering and get in touch with the association that best meets your interests and availability, chosen from a database of over 2,500 organizations in the Milan area. If you would rather take part in a summer volunteer experience, you can also get information on the many available opportunities.
If you’re interested in a temporary volunteer experience, or want to understand which activities suit you best, you can take part in the Volontari per un giorno project. It allows you to donate your time to one of the more than 1,500 projects active throughout the year.
Bocconi also organizes days during which you can try out volunteer and community activities along with classmates and friends. If you’d like to take part in this experience, participate in Community Days.
A special volunteer project has been developed with Pane Quotidiano, a nonreligious, nonpolitical and nonprofit organization. It is located just 200 meters from campus and supports the poorest segments of the population free of charge. A dedicated volunteer channel that is flexible and dynamic has been developed to allow you to donate a few hours of your time to this organization.
Making Sense of Profit is an initiative that allows you to complete a practical experience and use your academic knowledge at a social organization, thus contributing to creating a positive social impact through your studies.
