Program Structure

This LLM is taught by a Faculty made up of the most renowned experts and practitioners from leading international academic institutions around the world and international law firms, as well as from businesses and governmental authorities.

The Part-Time program is divided into:

FIRST YEAR

3 Compulsory Courses

  • Free Speech and Human Rights Law in the Cyberspace
  • Data Law and Data-Driven Innovation Law
  • Legal English Drafting

2 Elective Courses, to be chosen among the following indicative topics:

  • Digital Markets and Services: Legal Issues     
  • Data Protection Law and Cybersecurity
  • Transactional Law in the Digital Context
  • Digital and Social Sustainability: Legal Issues                                                 
  • Law of Blockchain and Cryptoassets
  • Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: Legal Issues


SECOND YEAR

3 Compulsory Courses

  • Intellectual Property and Competition Law in Digital Age
  • Internet Technologies
  • Legal Tech

2 Elective Courses, to be chosen among the following indicative topics:
  • Digital Markets and Services: Legal Issues     
  • Data Protection Law and Cybersecurity

  • Digital and Social Sustainability: Legal Issues

Practical Activities

Students may take a curricular internship consistent with the educational objectives of the LLM in the final part of the program. Alternatively, students may choose a “clinical work”, a short-term assignment by an external partner focusing on specific subjects. They may also choose to complete an individual research paper (final thesis).
 

All courses will take place from September 2024 until April 2026 and all practical activities will take place between May and July 2026.
 

The programs awards 62 ECTS credits in total.
