Francesca Rava Foundation

The Francesca Rava Foundation helps troubled children in Italy and all over the world through distance adoption, projects, awareness activities regarding children's rights, volunteering and representation in Italy N.P.H. Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (Our Little Brothers), an international humanitarian organization, which has been helping orphaned and abandoned children for over 50 years at orphanages and hospitals in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bolivia and Peru.

N.P.H. has been present in Haiti for over 20 years, under the guidance of Father Richard Frechette, an American priest and surgeon, who is in the front lines of the capital's toughest neighborhoods every day, with many projects supported by the Francesco Rava Foundation.

The well-rooted presence of N.P.H. in the area, the Foundation's work in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the most dramatic hours of the current phase of healthcare and reconstruction aid allowed for an immediate and effective reaction to the emergency and allowed N.P.H.'s projects to act as a point of reference for the aid.

The N.P.H. pediatric hospital, Saint Damien, is the nerve center of international aid. It is also the headquarters of civil protection and a support center for the Cavour aircraft carrier, the House of Little Angels for rehabilitation prosthetics for disfigured children, and Francisville City of Trades with professional training and production units, which acts as a tool to rebuild the country and create opportunities for its youth.
