A team of 3 students from the Marketing Management Master of Science program: Annina Bonagura, Stefania Di Maggio and Gaetana Santojanni and 2 students from the Management Master of Science: Francesca Iadicicco and Anna Sarto won a competition organized by Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera.

Name: 55 Plus 1
Challenge: To redesign the www.corriere.it/ of 2015 focusing attention on students and young people.
Idea: Corriere Up2U, put together during the Campus Abroad program in Washington, it is based on a simplification and editorial summary of information (accessible to everyone) and on the offer of services that can be accessed only after registration, such as columns (Get a Job, Get the Lesson, Easy Travel, Think Global, Act Local and What About Tonight?) and a space for users to share their experiences and interact with the entire community in real time, connected to Facebook.

Daily newspapers are in the middle of a transformation process due to to new technologies and new languages. We view the ideas to speak out to our new readers presented by Bocconi students with great interest.
Ferruccio De Bortoli, editor in chief, Corriere della Sera.

The fact that we worked in the United States allowed us to get to know an advanced setting, both in terms of mentality and in terms of technology support available.
Annina Bonagura, Stefania Di Maggio, Anna Sarto

We believe our project was a winner because of its feasibility and simplicity, but also because of its desire to target young people while keeping what they want in mind.
Francesca Iadicicco, Gaetana Santojanni
