Golf Club

Bocconi Golf Club was born in 2006, and we celebrated our tenth anniversary, in the same year golf was recognized as an Olympic sport. In the past years hundreds of students , Italian and foreign, experts or novices, have participated in the Golf Club's initiatives.

Who can participate?

Everybody can, from professional players to those approaching the course for the first time. The Team includes not only students, but also many alumni and professors.

What does the Bocconi Golf Club do?

The team holds weekly training sessions in Milan, participates in competitions with the Alumni Bocconi and challenges against other Italian universities and some of the most prestigious business schools worldwide. The team moves to Liguria for weekend trainings during the year, in a perfect environment for refining technique (for both new golfers and experts) as well as a chance to forge personal relationships that will remain over time.

  • The weekly training sessions are held on Friday afternoons at the Golf Le Rovedine, not far away from Bocconi. The team organizes car sharing to facilitate the participation of everybody. During training (completely free) experienced players teach the beginners, which is a unique opportunity to learn golf
  • The competitions in which the Golf Club participates take place in the best golf clubs of Northern Italy (Castelconturbia, Bergamo, St. Anna and La Serra) and abroad, in France and Switzerland. In 2016 Bocconi Sport Team won a variety of tournaments.
  • Golf Cliniques are one-weekend training and team building sessions. They will be held in Liguria at the Sant'Anna Golf Club over the course of the year. There will be programs for both beginners and advanced players with racing lessons and moments of conviviality including gala dinner, party and overnight.

How much does it cost to play Golf?

Bocconi Golf Club has always been committed to keeping costs as low as possible and, with Bocconi Sport Team, we manage to cover most of the costs. The entrance to thedriving range, balls and equipment for beginners are for free for member of Bocconi Sport Team. A fee will have to be paid to participate in competitions.
