Msc in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment

I will never forget my excitement after I found out I got admitted to an undergraduate program at a prestigious university such as Bocconi! I was particularly excited as the course I applied for was designed to construct a bridge between the world of economics and management and the ones of arts, culture, media and communication. It was a unique and innovative degree still unavailable at many universities at that time.
Furthermore, an opportunity to study abroad and get to know Italian culture and learn Italian language while exploring the city of Milan was definitely something not to be missed!
Despite my initial difficulties attending a course taught entirely in Italian, I successfully managed to pass all of my exams by the end of the academic year and improve my Italian amazingly. Followed by my personal strong desire to attend this course, I must say it was the success - oriented people studying and teaching at Bocconi and highly organized interactive classes that furtherdrove me to make the most of the opportunity I was given.
All of these, made me really proud to be a Bocconi student and I was glad I could pass my experience as an international student to other prospective international students, working as a Bocconi ambassador for many years.
During my bachelor degree, I gained a solid background in economics and management with a special focus on cultural organizations and media companies and ways to apply such principles in these areas.

It was during my Master's degree in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment, that I got a better insight into the media and entertainment sectors, I am passionate about. As a graduate student, I completed an exchange program at SMU in Dallas, Texas, where I was able to further explore the media and communication realms through various courses I attended. I was lucky to have a working perspective of American culture as well, as I worked in a promotion department of an independent record label in New York, driven by my passion and career interest for the music industry!

After I graduated with thesis analyzing the value of music festivals for certain area, I started working at Corporate Image and Web Department of Bocconi University. In particular, I am collaborating with management of a social network for international students in Milan, called MilanoZine, which is yet another way of depicting an amazing life an international student has in this city!

I have also worked on projects involving video production and entertainment PR and I hope I will continue developing my career in that direction. Finally, it goes without saying that I have grown so much in the past six years, since I've come to study at Bocconi. I learned a lot, both inside and outside the classroom, and I owe it to this school and amazing people I met there. Looking back, it has been a real pleasure to be a part of this international and professional environment and I am sure that such will open many other doors in the future for me!
