Why did you choose to study at Università Bocconi?
When I learnt about the bachelor degree in International Economics and Management I knew right away that this is exactly what I wanted to do. Therefore, what really caught my attention was the program itself . Other factors contributed to my decision to apply, such as the high reputation of the university, the unique culture of Italy, the amazing Milanese life style and the
fact that the class is really international with people from all around the world. And on the top, the excellent scholarship possibilities offered by Bocconi really made me possible to frequent such a well known universities.
What were the best elements of your undergraduate experience?
Curriculum wise, I did everything that I could. I exploited all opportunities offered by Bocconi, I went on an exchange program to Portugal, I did an internship at the Australian Consulate in Milan, I participated in many company workshops, I followed extra curricular activities and new learnt languages. I really did make use of all the services available to the students.
Also, I usually try to have a balanced lifestyle, so to make efforts in the professional life and my private life equally. The campus in Milan, and the city itself offer everything what a student needs to relax, enjoy the nightlife and to do sport activities. I was staying in one of the student dorms and i have to admit that even though attending a university primarily is about the actual studying, i had lot of fun with all the international people and Italians also when we were not studying.
You have decided to continue with your master of science abroad: why?
I wanted to further diversify my CV, so I decided to go to RSM - Erasmus University in Holland to do my master of science degree. RSM university is supposed to be an other excellent business university of Europe so I hoped that having two degrees from two different top universities in Europe would make a difference and help me in my career. Of course, needless to say that the fact that I did my undergraduate at Bocconi helped me to be accepted at RSM.
