the Challenge of Training for Challenges Via Sarfatti 25
EMIT students participate in a variety of activities organized in cooperation with firms.
Examples include a recent interdisciplinary project in which students focused on Web 2.0 technologies with Nokia to come up with an outstanding business plan.
In Nokia's own words 'The aim of the competition was to give attendees an insight into the complexity and opportunities of the industry. The project challenge included perspectives of understanding end-user behavior, conceptualizing new solutions, managing projects and creating marketing concepts.' Other students had the opportunity to interact with professional business angels who evaluated and discussed their projects.
For more information on Web 2.0 in EMIT, please contact Stefano Brusoni or Luigi Proserpio (convener of 'Managing in the 2.0 Landscape').
In addition, some students, like Giancarlo Garibaldi, have excelled in entrepreneurial activities in Italy and abroad.
