ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Program Director: Stefano Breschi

This program provides the skills, methodologies and theories for analyzing the dynamics of competition and innovation at the project, firm, and sector levels.

The teaching approach is uniquely multidisciplinary: the program is organized around key problem areas (e.g. competitiveness, innovation, internationalization) which are analyzed by relying on different disciplinary approaches (e.g. economics, management, law).
The teaching faculty is engaged in world-class research.

Graduates will be prepared to engage in a range of knowledge-intensive careers in consultancies, multinational corporations and international organizations.
For example, they work as analysts in the 'business analysis group' or 'competitive intelligence unit'.
Also, graduates may proceed to post-graduate education as PhD students in economics or management at other leading universities.

An extensive program of internships, exchanges and Double Degrees is available to all students.
