ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT IN ARTS, CULTURE, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT

Program Director: Stefano Baia Curioni

Interview with the Director

The structure of this course combines humanistic and economic studies, preparing students for future positions as managers of projects that relate to the art, media and entertainment sector. The economics and business administration area plays a decidedly larger role, and it sets out to fully analyze all the aspects of economics, law, management, organization, and technology affecting the sectors of art, culture and communication, providing graduates with the knowledge required to coordinate complex projects at national and international levels. The study area in the humanities focuses on the intercultural concept, seen as a value deriving from exchange and comparison between different cultures. This approach affects transversally all teaching areas and is fundamental for working in the world of art and culture. Students also have the opportunity to attend international exchange programs abroad (see Double Degree).
