NOTICES: 

  • Language Center opening hours.
  • Foreign Languages at Bocconi

    please note that from January 8 th to January 22 th 2013 all students are expected to choose first and second languages in their Study Plan (via Punto Blu). In order to help you in your choice an information desk will open from January 7th to January 25th 2013 from 10.00am to 2.00pm at the One-stop service center, Piazza Sraffa 13, ground floor.

  • BIEMF Academic year 2012-2013: First Language courses
    The University ended the possibility for the first semester to change the first foreign languages for all first year BIEMF students. The required number to start a new course has been reached for French and Italian, whereas we regret to inform you that there isn't the required number to start a German, Portuguese and Spanish first language course.

    French as a first language

    1st semester

    2nd semester

    Monday 18.00-19.30

    Tuesday 10.30-13.00

    Wednesday 8.45-10.15

    Thursday 13.30-16.00

     

    First lesson
     

    Monday, 8th October, room B (Via Sarfatti 25, ground floor).

    Please note: the course is not available yet via agenda: you can download the calendar

    Please note:

    • the regular attendance is strongly recommended
    • the starting level should be at least A1 (elementary level) or higher.

    Without the required level it is strongly recommended to

    • attend the English or Italian course
      (timetable available at www.unibocconi.eu/timetables &gt Class timetable &gt English code 30123, classes 16 or 17; Italian code 30125, class 1)
    • change the first language through the Student Administrative office from 8th to 22nd January 2013.

     

    German, Spanish, Portuguese as a first language

    Students with German, Spanish and Portuguese as first foreign language can:

    • Prepare the final exams through a self-learning program
      thanks to exam's drills, learning materials and tutoring service provided by the language teachers, available at the Language Laboratory

    or

    • Switch from the chosen language into English, Italian or French
      at Punto Blu from 8th until 22nd January 2013, as stated by the University. In the meanwhile, it is still possible to attend one of the advanced English classes or the Italian class or the French class (www.unibocconi.eu/timetables &gt class timetable &gt search by code &gt English 30123 class 16 or 17; Italian 30125 class 1, French 30124 class 1).
      Please remember that your foreign languages have to be different from your mother tongue.

     

    Please remember that in order to:

    • register a certificate as an alternative to the exam
    • sit the language exam
    • have the class correctly assigned in the student's diary

    students must have the correct code in their study plan.

    Therefore, those students who want to change the first language have to make their choice officially through the Student’s Administrative office from 8th to 22nd January 2013.
